Big day for the fellowship & Kevin Price

23rd June 2012

HRBC will host the ordination service for Kevin at 2:30 0n 23rd June 2012.

Newer folk to the fellowship may not know Kevin or realise that he had many hats while he was with us at HRBC.  When he felt called to the ministry he was one of our Elders with a particular responsibility for finance. He had a much appreciated preaching ministry and was a real 'team player' within the leadership team. Amongst many other things he was a key player in the drive to build the Thorn Cottages aligning the financial challenge of it with a Spiritual challenge to build for the future.

When he decided to rise to the challenge of becoming a minister we unanimously backed that calling. Though it meant we lost a major member of the leadership team.. We were pleased that Regents College and Ringstead Baptist Church recognised it too - bravely picking up the challenge of taking on an arachnophobic Welshman with a penchant for karaoke and a deep love of culinary discussions at church meetings.
