Sunday morning we had an unexpected addition to the menu at morning
worship. Alan Saunders, complete with an eight foot long cross shared
our service with us. Visiting preacher Andrew Stockbridge shelved some
of what he had prepared in order to interview Alan. Alan is walking from Manchester to
London (due to arrive on Tuesday) trailing the cross which has been
giving him opportunities to share the Christian faith with folk along
the way.
